Shape Data

For the health clinic information which includes: Adult Day Care, CMS Clinics, State Licenses Group Homes, Women Infant Children Program, Hospitals all of the data is in GIS format which is difficult to use unless you have some type of mapping program. Is there any possibility of getting the data in excel?

I noticed it was originally converted to excel. I read in the processdescription in the xml file this "obtained data through web query of state site, transferred data to excel format, converted to dbf, geocoded in ArcMap"

    Each SHP file should come with a corresponding DBF or database file, which you can open in excel as a spreadsheet. Does that do the trick?
